Just because you are looking for used bridal gowns does not mean they have to be ugly, old, or trashy. You can find perfectly good used bridal gowns that have been worn only once, or maybe never at all! You can find used bridal gowns by looking at online auction sites, garage sales, and sometimes even a local used clothing shop.
Many people often assume that used items are not as good as new items, and this trend can carry over to bridal gowns. The truth is, there is no reason not to look! Even if you don't find something you like, you will only be out a little time. If, however, you do find something you like, you can save hundreds or thousands of dollars. Someone may have decided to sell their wedding dress (because of divorce or other reasons). If this is the case, the dress was probably only worn once, thus it will be in impeccable shape.

As with any other method of acquiring used bridal gowns, you are more likely to find a gown in good condition than you are to find one that is old, moth-bitten, and ugly.
Local used clothing shops carry bridal gowns sometimes. When looking there it is a bit of a crapshoot, but sometimes you can strike gold! If you have a few local used clothing shops, you should look for bridal gowns there. Even if you don't find anything, at least you made the effort. If you are successful, that effort can save you thousands of dollars.
Used bridal gowns offer you an opportunity to save money. There is no reason not to at least look around for used bridal gowns, especially if you are on a tight budget.
